It provides fungi and algae growth resistance, anti-carbonation properties, low dirt pick up, crack bridging ability, UV resistance, durable and long lasting coat.

Product Description
Gulf Shield Elastomeric Silk is based on 100 % pure acrylic water based product, designed to withstand the harassment of gulf weather and to give flexible pleasing Elastomeric coating. It provides fungi and algae growth resistance, anti-carbonation properties, low dirt pick up, crack bridging ability, UV resistance, durable and long lasting coat.
Recommended Usage
To be used as a top coat for interior and exterior surfaces such as concrete, cement, plaster, brick and wood works, mainly to be used for car park and bridges.
Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and any contaminations.

Pressure at nozzle : 140-190 kg/cm2 (2100 PSI)
Nozzle tip : 0.021″- 0.027″
Spray Angle : 65-80o
Filter : be sure that the filters are clean.
Application Method
Apply two coats of Gulf Shield Elastomeric Silk as a top coat by brush, roller or spray thinned with fresh water (10-15% by volume).
Recommended paint system for exterior
• Falco Penetrating Primer S.B (if required) 1 coat
• Gulf Shield Primer 1 coat
• G P Acrylic Putty for hair crack only.
• Gulf Shield Elastomeric Silk 2 coats
Recommended paint system for exposed concrete protection
• Gulf Silane Siloxane 1 coat
• Falco GPI Acrylic Putty for hair crack only (if required).
• Gulf Shield Elastomeric Silk 2 or 3 coats
Note: paint system may be varying according to the substrate
