Gulf Guard Zinc Rich Primer is a three pack Epoxy Primer based on a high molecular Epoxy resin, Polyamide hardener & zinc powder .it designed to with stand the abrasion resistance and corrosion prevention.

Recommended Usage
It is an ideal anti-corrosive Primer for all industrial uses on steel, galvanized and structural machinery pipe lines, storage tanks etc….

Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and any contaminations.

Brush, roller or spray

Spray Data
Pressure at nozzle : 150 kg/cm2 (2100 PSI)
Nozzle tip (inches) : 0.018 – 0.021
Spray Angle : 65 – 80o
Filter : be sure that the filters are clean.

Application Method
Apply one coat of Gulf Guard Zinc Rich Primer by brush, roller and spray thinned with Thinner 2050 (10-15% by volume).

Recommended paint system (normal steel):
• Gulf Guard Zinc Rich Primer –  1 coat
• Falco Thane  – 2 coats

Recommended paint system (galvanized steel):
• Falco Wash Primer  – 1 coat
• Gulf Guard Zinc Rich Primer  – 1 coat
• Falco Thane  – 2 coats
