Gulf Guard ZP HB primer is a two component Zinc Phosphate Polyamide – cured epoxy, anticorrosive primer. It forms a durable coating system with wide range of top coats.
Recommended Usage
It is an ideal anti-corrosive Primer for all industrial uses on steel, galvanized and structural machinery pipe, lines, storage tanks etc.
Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and any contaminations.

Spray Data
Pressure at nozzle : 150 kg/cm2 (2100 PSI)
Nozzle tip (inches) : 0.015 – 0.018
Spray Angle : 65 – 80o
Filter : be sure that the filters are clean
Application Method
Apply one coat of Gulf Guard ZP HB Primer by brush, roller and spray thinned with Thinner 2050 (10-15% by volume).
Recommended paint system (normal steel):
• Falco General Purpose epoxy primer 1 coat
• Gulf Guard ZP HB Primer 1 coat
• Falco Thane 2 coats
Recommended paint system (galvanized steel):
• Falco Wash Primer 1 coat
• Gulf Guard ZP HB Primer 1 coat
• Falco Thane 2 coats
