Gulf Shield Silk is based on 100 % pure acrylic water based Non-Flammable product. Designed to withstand the harassment of gulf weather. It provides fungi and algae growth resistance, anti-carbonation properties, low dirt pick up, crack bridging ability up to 0.75mm, UV resistance, durable and long lasting coat.

Product Description
Gulf Shield Silk is based on 100 % pure acrylic water based Non-Flammable product. Designed to withstand the harassment of gulf weather. It provides fungi and algae growth resistance, anti-carbonation properties, low dirt pick up, crack bridging ability up to 0.75mm, UV resistance, durable and long lasting coat.
Recommended Usage
To be used as a top coat for interior and exterior surfaces such as concrete, cement, plaster, brick and wood works.
Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and any contaminations.

Pressure at nozzle : 140-190 kg/cm2 (2100 PSI)
Nozzle tip : .021″- .027″
Spray Angle : 65-80o
Filter : be sure that the filters are clean.
Application Method
Apply two coats of Gulf Shield Silk as a top coat by brush, roller or spray thinned with fresh water (10-15% by volume).
Recommended paint system for interior
• Falco Sealer Primer (P.V.A) – 1 coat
• Falco Stucco Putty – 2 coats
• Gulf Shield Silk – 2 coats
Recommended paint system for exterior
• Falco Penetrating Primer S.B (if required) – 1 coat
• Gulf Shield Primer – 1 coat
• G P Acrylic Putty for hair crack only.
• Gulf Shield Silk – 2 coats
Acrylic shield system for exterior
• Falco Acrylic Primer or Falco G P Acrylic Primer – 1 coat
• Falco G P I Acrylic (Texture or Spray Compound) – 1 coat
• Gulf Shield Silk – 2 coats
Note: paint system may be varying according to the substrate.
